Thank you CJHL President and Vice President (Keith Schultz and Mark Stade) on their first years at respective positions. Going to games and making sure gamesheets are sent in along with Glen Worrell (long time director) and a few surprise appearances from Larry Lepine (former league president). Also on the crew was Duane Speare doing the Stats and posting Front Page News. Lastly, putting in a lot of the dirty work was Mr. Larry Davis. This year was especially busy for Larry, who, along with his duties as League Disciplinarian (19,904 minutes in penalties, resulting in 106 regular season suspensions totalling 268 games and 11 suspensions in playoffs totalling 30 games) managed to do the scheduling this year (last night was 300th game of the year along with approx. 8 rescheduled games.) Other duties included getting League Individual Trophy Winners, All Stars picked in both divisions, answering the phone nearly every day making sure the league ran smoothly and lastly, Larry's favourite thing to do, going in the dressing room of every single team at the end of the year and thanking all players in their last year for playing in the CJHL!!! Very classy!! Larry also went to over 100 games this year and sent in scores and gamesheets!!!! Great job Gentlemen and thanks for your dedication to making the CJHL run so smooth!!! |
