The objective of the
Capital Junior Hockey League is to promote the category of Junior 'B' hockey
by providing an organized environment in which hockey teams or clubs,
operating from within communities or centers in the general geographic region
of the Alberta Capital, can participate in the spirit of competition and
sportsmanship.
As such, members of this league recognize the Alberta Amateur Hockey
Association [Hockey Alberta], as a formally constituted Branch of the
Canadian Hockey Association [C.H.A.] which governs amateur hockey in Canada.
Consequently, members of the League recognize the Alberta Amateur Hockey
Association as the supreme authority concerning amateur hockey in the
province of Alberta and unconditionally commit to obey and abide by the
Constitution, Objectives, Bylaws, Regulations and rules of the Alberta
Amateur Hockey Association and any amendments thereto.
